True Specialists
What sets Airflo apart is our human touch. While our customers’ valuable goods often travel at altitudes of 10 kilometers, our greatest asset remains on the work floor, firmly grounded. Our team is committed, flexible, and embodies the solution orientated mindset that defines Airflo. We give it our absolute best to provide optimal service and deliver on our promises. Our team of dedicated professionals takes care of all your logistics needs, sparing you the burden of navigating any logistics challenges.
Corporate Social Responsibility
Airflo is deeply committed to respecting people, nature, and the environment, with a strong focus on corporate social responsibility. We aim to make a positive impact through various initiatives. Recently, we installed solar panels on our Nairobi cold storage units, achieving 60% energy self-sufficiency, and are implementing similar upgrades at our Zimbabwe facilities.
Additionally, we support local communities in both Kenya and Zimbabwe through donations and educational programs, helping to foster quality learning opportunities and community growth.
Our History
Airflo has been at the forefront of the perishable logistics industries in Kenya and Zimbabwe since these industries started to flourish on the late 1980s and early 1990s. It is this understanding of where we have collectively come from, that allows our people to truly support your supply chain.
Airflo was founded in 1988 by the Zwager family; a pioneering Dutch family who saw the potential in cultivating and exporting African roses. Airflo provided the international transport service and it is from these humble beginnings that we now provide transport solutions to over 180 Kenyan growers looking to deliver their perishable products around the world.
In Zimbabwe, we commenced operations in 1994. Originally focussed on the transport of fresh cut flowers, mostly to the Netherlands, our business now supports the supply chains of Zimbabwean, Zambian and Mozambican exporters supplying flowers, fruits and vegetables around the world.
Now also operating form The Netherlands and the United Arab Emirates, Airflo now employs hundreds of people, delivers millions of kilos of fresh produce and flowers to a multitude of worldwide destinations every year.
